Offers durability, comfort and strength. The design of the NFPA Harness insures a double backup of all structural webbing at the clip-in/rappel point. Unique design offers upper chest D-ring for attachment of belay line, while allowing the user to rappel from the seat portion of the harness. Yates Full Body Harness works great as a rappel training harness. Forged D-rings used for main attachment points have a proof-load strength of 5000 lbs.(2268kg) and has been tested in excess of 8000 lbs.(3629kg) without failure. NFPA Harness is constructed of Type XIII 6500 lb.(2948kg) flat webbing with quick adjustable leg loops and is sewn with contrasting color thread, offering visual inspection of all stitching. One gear rack is provided. Optional leg and waist padding is available. Harness Certification requirements were conducted by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. in accordance with the NFPA Standard for Fire Service Life Safety Harnesses (1983/1990 Edition). UL Classification 93F4. Well suited for all fire departments, heavy rescue, military, industrial and commercial applications where a Class III Harness is required. One size fully adjustable. A totally new concept in Class III harness design. The Heavy Rescue Harness has all the features needed for a Class III Fall Arrest Protection Harness. It features a rear clip-in point between the shoulders and D-rings on top of the shoulders allowing the use of a spreader bar system for industrial uses when a long hang time is anticipated. Yates Heavy Rescue Harness is designed with the rappel point of the harness at waist level. The rappel point is designed similar to the Yates Standard NFPA Class II Harness. This new concept in full body harness design combines the Fall Arrest Protection needed in a Class III harness and the comfort of a waist level rappel point. Yates Heavy Rescue Harness is designed for durability, comfort and strength. The Yates Rescue Harness was originally designed for the U.S. Navy Seals tactical teams. The anatomical configuration of the harness has made it the choice for many tactical teams who need a non-restrictive harness system. Front attachment point is provided through reinforced rolled 2(5.13cm) webbing. The leg loops are quick adjustable, using Mil-Spec. hardware. Two gear racks are provided.
