High quality fully adjustable
litter spider for wire basket Stokes style litters. All hardware and webbing
meets or exceeds NFPA and OSHA requirements. Webbing is a 1.75”(4.5cm) solid nylon
(orange) that tests at over 9000 lbs.(4082kg). All adjusters are 5000
lbs.(2268kg) mil spec. hardware. Each of
the four legs can be adjusted independently. Each leg is terminated with a
reinforced loop that allows you to use any carabiner that fits the litter side
rails. Carabiners are not included. We recommend using 4 SMC #21001 and 1

A fully adjustable stretcher spider or pre‑rig
designed to be used with any stretcher in high angle evacuations. The four
point spider quickly attaches to any stretcher using carabiners. The harness is
made of 1/2”(12.5mm) static kernmantle rope and the prusik adjusters are made
of a 1/4”(6.4mm) braid‑on‑braid rope. The litter tender can adjust
the level of the stretcher at any point even when loaded with a patient. This
adjustable spider allows the litter tender to change the stretcher’s orientation
from horizontal to vertical and back again as often as is required. By moving
the head and foot adjustment prusiks on one side only the litter tender can
place the patient and stretcher on its side in the event of rockfall, or to clear
vomit from the patient. We include a storage bag which is large enough to
accommodate the spider, carabiners and rigging equipment. Economy model
includes the spider and bag only. Weight is 3 lbs.(1.4kg). Standard model
includes spider, four large steel locking D carabiners, one X-large steel
locking D carabiner and bag. Weight is 9 lbs.(4kg). Deluxe model includes the
standard equipment and a rescue daisy chain for litter tender attachment and a
